Addis Ababa Arrive to Addis Ababa in the afternoon. Our guide meets you and transfer you to hotel near airport. Relax and in the evening you would attend a dinner and Traditional Dance Show at the restaurant of your hotel. Overnight at Yod Abyssinian international Hotel (HB) .

Fly Addis – Mekele/ Drive Mekele - Ahmedilla (about 180 km and around 5 hours driving) You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mekele. Up on arrival you will continue to drive to Hamedela via Berhale. The Danakil Depression can be said to ‘begin’ here. The site is spectacular, full of eye-catching colors, as in the sculpture springs. The desert has several points lying more than 100 meters below sea level. You pass through a small town of Berhale where the camel caravans stop before they proceed to the northern highlands. En route you see many long caravans going to the salt mines and others coming out of the Danakil with their salt loaded camels. Overnight camping at Ahmedilla (FB)

Excursion to Dallol Visit the Dallol area, salt mining and look at camel caravans. After early breakfast drive to the Lake Asale, Salty Lake and visit the salt workers and the merchant. Here you will observe salt cutting, shaping and then loading to the endless Camel Caravans. Then after proceed to Dallol and enjoy the spectacular view of the small hills, colorful hot spring in several places. The spectacular colors created by sulfurs potash and various mineral compounds. You will drive back to Ahmedela. Overnight camping at Ahmedilla (FB)

Drive Ahmedilla – Dodom – Erta Ale (around135 km and 8 hrs driving and walking) Today you will drive to Erta Ale. Continue to Dodom afterwards for your walking to the volcano hill - Erta Ale. Erta Ale Volcanic hills (613 meters above sea level). You will be expected to arrive at Erta Ale around mid-night and walk to see the Erta ale volcanic eruption. At night you will camp nearby the Erta ale eruption, on the crater rim above the active lava lake. At Night it is more convenient to shooting good pictures of the Volcano. Drive Erta Ale – Mekele (around 350 km and about 7 hours) You will get up late and after breakfast descent to the car. And you will drive to Mekele passing through Berhale. Whole day driving and in the evening you will arrive to Mekele and rest. Overnight at the Planet Hotel (BB)

Fly Mekele – Addis Ababa. City Tour After you have breakfast, you will be transferred to Mekele airport for your flight to Addis Ababa. Up on your arrival you will have Addis Ababa city tour. Mount Entoto will be a commencing of your city tour. It is a historical place where Emperor Menelik II resided and built his palace, when he came from Ankober and founded Addis Ababa. It is considered a sacred mountain and has many monasteries. It is situated at an altitude of between 2,600 and 3,100 meters. You will have a magnificent view of the city. Then we drive to the National Museum. The museum houses the nation's artistic treasures as well as many of the most precious archaeological finds such as the fossilized remains of early hominids, the most famous of which is "Lucy," the partial skeleton of a specimen of Australopithecus afarensis. The well-known Lucy is said to be 3.2 million years old. After visiting the museum, you will drive to Trinity cathedral Church. This church is the highest ranking Orthodox cathedral in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It was built to commemorate Ethiopia's liberation from Italian occupation and is the second most important place of worship in Ethiopia, after the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion in Axum. Fly Addis Ababa - Nosy Be (Madagascar) Transfer to Bole Airport and check in for flight to Nosy Be. (Please note that flights are operated 4 times a week, so it would determine when your itinerary should commence). Arrive to Nosy Be in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. Relax, beach, beautiful sunset on the deck of the restaurant. Dinner and overnight at Vanila Hotel (HB)

Excursion to Lokobe Reserve After breakfast proceed for half day excursion. Lokobe Reserve is known for its brown lemurs as well as the smallest chameleon in the world and the miniature frog. You will be taken by car to Ambatozavavy village. Here you take a pirogue (dugout canoe) for a boat cruise over to Lokobe reserve. You then spend a couple of hours walking in the tropical forest with a guide spotting the lemurs, chameleons, geckos. After paddling back you enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal at the village before heading back to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Vanila Hotel (HB)
