Detailed programm

Day 1

Arrival to Walvis Bay airport and meet your guide. A short desert tour to see Moon Landscape and Welvitchia (Namibian National Flower) and then transfer to the hotel in Swakopmund, Rest and explore town. Overnight at Swakopmund Plaza Hotel (BB)

Day 2

Departure along the coast to Cape Cross, where we will stop to enjoy beach angling at the best spots in the area. In the late afternoon check-in at the lodge situated at the beach front. Optional acitivities: Seal Colony Excursion, Salt Plant Excursion. Overnight at Cape Cross Lodge (DBB)

Day 3

Continue further north to Terrace Bay, the most famous angling destination at the Skeleton Coast. After check-in at the camp start angling in the 20 km long bay till late afternoon. Overnight at Terrace Bay Camp (DBB)

Day 4

We leave Torra Bay in the direction of Damaraland and leave the Skeleton Coast National Park heading easwards.. Halfway in front of Sesfontein we stop at a beautiful place by the Ongongo Waterfall. Our campsite will be right at the waterfall in a picturesque place and you can swim and dive here in clean warm water! Overnight stay at the camp Ongongo Warmquelle Campsite (FB)

Day 5

Today we are moving through Sesfontein further along the Hoanib River to the place Hoarusib, where we will have a chance to see desert elephants along the road, a lot of oryx antelopes, ostriches and other animals. Our final point of today's journey will be Puros - forgotten by God, where we will put up our second camp. Overnight at Campsite in Purros (FB)

Day 6

We continue our journey northwards in the Hoarusib area, gradually approaching the small village of Orupembe. The time of arrival at our next camp depends on the speed of our travel and condition of the road and the presence of animals along the way. Overnight at the campsite Marienfluss (FB)

Day 7

The route leads through Orupembe to the Marienfluus Valley (Nothern part of Skeleton Coast), where we will spend the night at Camp Camp Syncro in the immediate vicinity of the settlement of the local Himba Tribe (they are the most uncivilized Namibian tribe). Very interesting and busy day interacting with real Himba people. Overnight stay at Camp Syncro (stone houses) (FB)

Day 8

Now we turn south-east in the direction of the Van Zyls Pass - the pass well known as the most difficult in Namibia for 4x4 cars. We break camping after an exciting difficult crossing in a beautiful place on this pass. Overnight at a campsite in the Van Zyls Pass area (FB).

Day 9

After overcoming this difficult Van Zyl pass we continue our journey in the direction of the Kunene River to the very north of Namibia. We do not drive into the town of Opuwo (the largest in this region), but continue our way in the northeast direction to Okangwati for refueling and continue to move exactly north to the Kunene River and reach Epupa Falls. Here right at the waterfall we stop for the night at the campsite Epupa Falls (FB). Evening and relaxation at the falls of Epupa. We look at the waterfall from the special observation deck from the top of the hill directly opposite the waterfalls, Kunene River and neighbouring Angola.

Day 10

In the morning enjoy the falls of Epupa, palm rainforests and swim in the natural pools under the waterfalls. Also here we have a chance to interact with Himba tribe people or just have a beer at the bar right by the Kunene at the border of Namibia and Angola. After lunch, we head eastward along the Kunene River to Swartbooisdrift (during the rains it is very difficult to get there) to the Kunene River Lodge. We drive past the villages of the Himba people and high palm trees and arrive at the lodge located on the banks of the Kunene River. Relax. Dinner and Overnight at Kunene River Lodge (DBB)

Day 11

Early in the morning we visit the Ruacana dam and enjoy the view of the Ruacana waterfalls (in the dry season from July to October there is almost no water in the waterfall). Then we continue our journey to the most populous area of ​​Namibia - Owamboland and move to Outapi where we will see the giant baobab Ombalantu Baobab and then drive into the Etosha National Park through the Northern Gate - King Nehale and move in the direction of Namutoni Camp. On the way we do safari in National Park and observe animals that are abundant here. Etosha NP is the most famous in Namibia. Overnight at the campsite in Namutoni (DBB)

Day 12

Full day safari in the Etosha National Park, We stop for lunch at the Halali Camp and will go round several water holes around Halali and Namutoni in search of animals and good photos. Overnight at the campsite in Namutoni (DBB)

Day 13

In the morning, after breakfast we drive out of Etosha to Grootfontein and stop on the way at Hoba Meteorite (the largest in the world). We continue in eastwards direction to the Tucsin Tsumkwe Lodge. Arrive in late afternoon and rest. Dinner and overnight at the Tucsin Tsumkwe Lodge (DBB)

Day 14

Early in the morning we visit the Bushmen village in Tsumkwe and get acquainted with bushmen and with their traditions and part of their culture. Then our journey lies into Botswana. We cross the border into Botswana and head to a beautiful place in the western part of the Okavango River Delta, where we will set up the camp right by the water. On the way to the campsite we do safari in the Okavango Delta. Relax, dinner and overnight at the Lake Ngami Camping site (DBB)

Day 15

Early in the morning we go on safari and then head south-west to Ghanzi and then to the Namibian border. We cross into Namibia through the border post Buitepos and arrive at the lodge, where members of local San tribe (Bushmen) will show us their performance of dance and song in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge San Dune Lodge (DBB)

Day 16

After breakfast transfer to Windhoek airport through the city of Gobabis. Check in for your flight home or continue traveling in Africa.

Day 17

After breakfast drive via Gobabis to the airport for your return flight home or continue your travel in Africa.
