Tanzanian Tour. Short Safari and Beach Holiday on Zanzibar Island

Arrival to Tanzania Our guide will meet you on arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport and transfer to Moshi Park View hotel. Rest and relax. Dinner and overnight at Moshi Park View Hotel 4*(HB)

Today you will be picked up in Moshi in the morning, by our English-speaking guide, who will drive you to Materuni Village (approximate 35 minutes drive). First you will visit the waterfalls, which are around a 40 minute walk away. On the way, your guide will inform you about the culture of the Chagga village life and explain the surrounding fauna and flora. The views are truly breathtaking, and with some luck you will see the summit of Kilimanjaro. When you reach the waterfalls, you will admire the view of 80 meters high falling waters. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is an inviting place for a refreshing swim so don‘t forget your swimwear! After having enjoyed the scenery, you slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch. You also will have the opportunity to taste our local banana beer – definitely not to be missed! But that’s not all. Next the coffee experience awaits you. Here you will learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted and further processed. You will also be invited to help with the grinding of the coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances - a fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Then you say goodbye and drive for 3 hours to Ngorongoro crater for dinner and over night at Ngorongoro Serena lodge. After breakfast, you will descend into the Crater floor (19.2 km in diameter, 610 m deep, 304 sq km) for full day game drives. All the Big Five: Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more…Birds include flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more.. Breaking for lunch at Ngoitoktok Spring picnic sites will be an unforgettable experience. Ngorongoro Crater is often called 'Africa's Eden', the '8th Wonder of Nature. A massive extinct volcano, its towering tree lined walls drop thousands of feet to a "Noah's Ark" of animals on the verdant floor below. This breathtaking oasis provides a haven for both predator and prey to live among grasslands, fresh springs and the large soda lake. Large herds of zebra, buffalo, antelope and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. After breakfast, you will depart on a pleasant drive for 35 km to Lake Manyara National Park which apart from its abundant bird life, is known for its tree-climbing lions. Experience full day game drive with picnic lunch. This national park is small but attractive park, squeezed between the stunning Manyara soda lake and the steep rim of the rift valley. Look out for the baboons, giraffes , flamingo, and many more different species of bird life. Arrive to the lodge after safari and check in. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge 4* (HB)

After checkin out from the lodge you will drive to Arusha or Kilimanjaro air port (depends on your flight to Zanzibar). On the way you will visit Masai village for cultural tour, you will enjoy the Masai traditional culture and after this interesting tour you will proceed to the airport. Fly to Zanzibar. On arrival our driver will meet you and transfer to the hotel in noirth-western part of the island. Arrive to the hotel in approximately 40 minutes and check in. In the morning you will take a cruise to Mnemba Nature Reserve for outstanding snorkeling. The thalf day trip will include transfer to Mnemba Reserve by traditional dhow boat and 1 hour snorkeling and lunch. Return to hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
