Entebbe Airport – Kibale National Park
Arrive to Entebbe airport and depart for Fort Portal. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon” and is famous for the many tea plantations. From this lovely small town we will continue to Kibale National Park, while passing the region of the Crater Lakes. Here we will explore some small lakes, before heading to our overnight accommodation. Dinner and overnight at the Ndali Lodge (HB)
Day 2
Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of chimpanzees and other primates. Return and check out heading to Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel – a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. Thanks to the abundant bird life and the elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos that are cooling off at the shores, this cruise will definitely be unforgettable! Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (FB)
Day 3
Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi National Park
The day begins early when we start with a morning game drive and head to the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. We search for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wild animals. Return the lodge we depart and drive to Bwindi National Park – home of the endangered mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs (FB)
Day 4
Gorilla Tracking
The highlight of your safari: a meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi! Especially hikers will love the tracking in the beautiful ecosystem of the park. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs (FB)
Day 5
Bwindi National Park – Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast head to Lake Mburo National park arriving in time for Lunch and an evening boat cruise on the Lake. Have an evening game drive thereafter – look out for the Zebras amongst other game. Dinner and Overnight at Mantana Tented Camp (FB)
Day 6
Lake Mburo – Entebbe
After Breakfast check out of the camp and heading back to Entebbe – have a brief stopover at the equator proceeding onwards to Entebbe airport for check in.for your flight to other African destination or fly home.
